Gregory J. Spak
Gregory J. Spak is the Chair of the International Trade Group of the global law firm, White & Case. Mr. Spak has extensive experience representing clients in disputes arising from international trade, and in counseling global companies and government on international trade rules. He has worked with companies in various economic sectors, ranging from agriculture to construction and basic industries to high tech service industries. A partner in the White & Case global trade group since 1995, his significant track record and reputation have made him a trusted adviser for sovereign governments and global companies involved in international trade. As a litigator, Greg has handled trade-related litigation before national administrative agencies, national courts at the trial and appellate level, and arbitral panels organized under regional and multilateral trade agreements. In recent years, he has gained significant experience handling disputes before the World Trade Organization, serving as lead counsel in several proceedings before WTO panels and the Appellate Body. Mr. Spak is a 1984 graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and a 1987 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center.
