Jangwon Koh
He is a deputy director of FTA Services and Investment division in Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. (He is now on educational leave of absence and attending Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, as a part of government-sponsored education program.)
Since 2006, he has been working for Korean government. He worked for Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (now Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and then moved to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. As a member of Korean delegation, he participated in the WTO DDA negotiations on NAMA (non-agricultural market access) and he also joined several Korea-signed FTAs negotiations, including Korea-Canada, Korea-Australia, Korea-Turkey FTAs, and so on, working on trade in services and investment chapters. In the meantime, as a staff of Korean Presidential Committee for the G-20 Summit, he was engaged in handling trade issues of Seoul G-20 Summit.
