Jennifer A. Hillman
Jennifer Hillman is a partner in the Washington office of Cassidy Levy Kent. Ms. Hillman’s work focuses primarily on international trade litigation and policy matters, including antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings.
Ms. Hillman has had a distinguished career in public service, both nationally and internationally. She recently completed her term member of the WTO Appellate Body. Prior to that, Ms. Hillman served for nine years as a Commissioner at the United States International Trade Commission (USITC). Before her appointment to the USITC, Ms. Hillman served as General Counsel at the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), where she had previously been an Ambassador and Chief Textiles Negotiator. Prior to accepting that position, she served as Legislative Director and Counsel to U.S. Senator Terry Sanford of North Carolina. She began her professional career as an international trade attorney at the Washington, D.C., firm of Patton Boggs.
Ms. Hillman currently serves as a professor of law the Georgetown Law School and is on the selection panel for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation. She previously served as a Senior Transatlantic Fellow for the German Marshall Fund of the United States, and on the boards of Duke University, the Trade Policy Forum, and the Stoddert Soccer League.
Ms. Hillman holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an M.Ed. and a B.A. from Duke University.
