Heilferty - Robert photoRobert Heilferty is Deputy Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement & Compliance, Office of the General Counsel, U.S. Department of Commerce. He manages an office of more than 30 attorneys handling legal review of the agency’s antidumping and countervailing duty determinations, the resulting litigation before U.S. courts, NAFTA panels, and at the WTO, and legal work related to the agency’s foreign trade zones program, among others. He is a 1988 graduate of the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America, where he also served as an adjunct lecturer on comparative and international trade law from 1994-2008.
